DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH... Take I-95 North until you are in North Carolina then take exit 40 (Sign will say Fayetteville - Fort Bragg) you will be on Route 301 and it is also called 95 Business, go 6 miles to Owen Drive. The sign hanging in the center of the road will say Wilkes Rd, but the sign on the left corner will read Owen Drive. Turn left on Owen Drive go approx 8 miles to the Sante Fe exit, turn right at top of ramp and go approx 1 mile to Rt. 24 (also called Bragg Blvd.). Turn left onto 24 West and go approx. 13 miles (Rt. 87 and 24 run together) but at this point 24 West separates to the right. The exit sign will say Carthage. Go 5 miles on 24 West to our entrance signs which read The Highlands at Sherwood Forest. If you need directions along the way call (919) 478-9611. |
DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH... Interstate 95 South to exit 79 in North Carolina (Benson), Take Rt. 27 West. Immediately after you exit I-95, Rt. 27 takes a turn, it is well marked. Note that 27 makes additional turns. Follow 27 West for approx 35 miles total. When Rts 24 and 27 join together we are less than 2 miles. At McKoy Town Road you will see a brick sign for Sherwood Forest, do not turn, continue on 27 West and the entrance is less than 1/4 mile. The entrance signs say "The Highlands at Sherwood Forest". Approx 40 minutes exit US 1 South on Route 27 East in Cameron.
